Yeah I used to be a big gym rat. I exercised three or more days a week, doing both cardio and weightlifting.
Right now I'm getting back into it very slowly as I'm so out of shape. A couple of days ago I bought some dumbbells and hand grips at Sports Aurhority. A pair of 20 lb dumbbells and a pair of 30 lb dumbbells. Cost me over $100!
I start off my routine with a few sets of press-ups, which is push-ups on your knees. Then I do a few sets of dumbbell bench presses. After all of that I walk around my neighborhood for a bit. I'm easing back into it. Eventually I'll advanceto regular push-ups and maybe jogging rather than walking.
I've also changed my diet. I'm incorporating more protein and salads in my diet.
And so far I feel better!
