I'm not really sure how fish oil is suppposed to work. But I did read something that made me think that it makes brain cell membranes more receptive to seratonin.
I've been taking it for about a year and it works for me. It only seems to work along with an AD, as I've tried it alone and had no effects.
I also notice a difference in brands.cherylann
