I take Omegabrite which is NOT cheap and 1,050 EPA and 150 DHA for three capsules. I only take 4 capsules partly because of expense. But I have GERD and they don't taste too bad when I sometimes burp them up.
I have thought of moving up to 5 a day, but not sure it would make a difference.
Also regarding inflamation, arthritis, etc. There was a big article in our paper today about curcumin. They are talking about its use against cancer as well as a substitute for Cox-2 drugs which have been banned. Curcumin is found in turmeric and curry powder.
