5 cats, 1 turtle and a rabbit.
Turtle - tortufulo (italian for turtle)
Rabbit - dollface (no idea why, I didn't name her)
Fred - tuxedo cat (my mother says she named him that because he is plain and friendly)
Mischa: silvery grey cat (named after Baryshnikov because in his youth he was a magnificent jumper)
Placido: black cat (named after Placido domingo because he can really yowl)
Tiger Lily: tabby/calico cat (she's orangey, has stripes, very fierce and the family tradition is to name girl cats after flowers).
Pasturella: New kitten, white with black spots (names Pasturella because when I had to take her to the vet she bit me and I was in the hospital for a week with a pasturella infection. I love her anyway).And, Petunia, who was a tortoiseshell cat, who was just put to sleep on wednesday after 16 years - she was part of the flower tradition (we also had a tulip and a daisy).
