i've never had a pet aside from a goldfish (i named her Karana, after the character in *Island of the Blue Dolphins.* that must have been in grade 6.
so i never understand the pet posts!
lately i've been playing with my friends' kitties. the greyish-white one with black-tipped ears and big blue eyes really makes me want a cat...when i get my own place next month (mother allergic to everything) i want to get a baby girl kitty from the humane society and name her Piper, after my favorite Phish song and one of my favorite memories--speeding through the snowy hills of Colorado in a fast car by myself, blaring the song--it was the first (and only) time i'd gone skiing...
i've heard that your pet's personality is similar to yours, so i can only imagine what kind of kitty she'll be...
