Hi, guys! Just wanted to touch base and let you know I am still struggling with stopping drinking this time. I've posted on the medical board re: talking to my Dr. about adding a benzo - I just seem to have an inordinate amount of anxiety right now which is making it Really difficult to avoid alcohol. I want to stop completely for at least awhile. But I feel like maybe I'm "copping out" by replacing drink with a drug.
What do you guys think? I'm not sure if the anxiety is Prozac-related or depression-related (my guess is both).
