Give yourself lots of space and take it slow. Maybe a few weeks off and then go in and try to talk this through -- even if it is time to end, the ending should be better than this. He blew it.
And don't you dare be saying to yourself, "I never should have said what I said..." you said what was necessary and he did not respond as he should have. Ug. Hate therapy sometimes. It can be devastatingly painful.
