Okay, usual platitudes...take care, etc. Let yourself grieve however much you need. It will get better in time. Easier, somehow.
And the way it ended doesn't take anything away from all you accomplished. Not one bit. It was up to HIM to manage the process, not you. Even if/when you were quite skilled at it.
I'm so sorry. I'll keep you in my thoughts.
