Hi Poet,

I think that I struggle with many of those same feelings.

I always think that it would be a great relief for my therapist to be done with me. Lots of times it feels like the only gift I can give him - just getting rid of me.

And I have run away and quit too and it was very hard to say "Please can I come back?" and I think even though I am awful and horrible and disgusting and I don't know how you can bear to be in the same room with me. But I do feel so relieved when I come back and he's there for me again.

So I guess what I'm saying is that I think you should ask to go back. Therapy is painful especially when we feel like a failure at it on top of having so many painful feelings but to have someone who cares about us even and especially when we don't feel worthy of anyone's care is worth everything in the world.

Can you call her? Can you say I am feeling very sad? Can I please come back and try again?
