If it works well for you, stick with it as long as it doesn't present any problems for you. The one critique I have is to be careful with vitamin E. There was a study done, and it found that people taking real high doses of vitamin E actually had a higher mortality rate. It just might be a correlation and maybe it isn't statistically significant. I don't know for sure. For myself, I can only tolerate 600IU of natural vitamin E, which seems to be a safe dosage. Vitamin E is supposed to be good for the heart, but some sources say that it doesn't lower the risk of heart disease. It's hard to know who is telling the truth anymore. I just go by what I can tolerate. It's amazing that you can tolerate that much vitamin C. I can only tolerate 500mg of vitamin C per day. I like the buffered calcium ascorbate form. What form of vitamin C do you take? Does it bother your digestive system? I thing alpha lipoic acid is overrated. I think most people don't need such an unusual supplement if you are taking the more common antioxidants, like vitamin C, E, and selenium, which you are. I never liked alpha lipoic acid anyway. As for melatonin, I take 1mg every night. Can't say that it does anything beneficial. It might be another overrated supplement with little efficacy in the long run. In the short-term, it does help with sleep, but the effect wears off over time, at least that's what happened to me. I keep taking it at night because my body is used to it, and it doesn't seem to hurt me in any way. Glad that your regimen is helping you!!
