i don't know anything (sort of)

part of me knows that isn't really true.
but after an hourlong meeting with my advisor, and almost 6 pages of notes i furiously typed during our discussion, my beautifully rendered research question is all a jumble and i don't know how i'll ever be able to tackle this topic after all my advisor's brilliant yet bewildering feedback.
i guess this is grad school, huh? running with the big dogs and all that. trying to keep up with all the research.
