And the maximum tuition that universities can charge UK nationals is only around $2000/year. There's a cap - and thats for the ones with well off parents. Other nationalities, for example Americans, the universities can charge whatever the hell they want through.

Nope its all scaled to what your parents earn - if you have rich parents, then the max tuition you pay is, as said before, $2000/year whilst ones with broke parents don't get charged any tuition. There's a sliding scale between.
