I'm sorry about all the bad stuff that's been happening to you. I am a true believer in that your frame of mind really does affect what goes on in your life, though. For instance, my brother and sis-in-law's marriage is in horrible trouble, they are both stressed out. My sis-in-law got into an otherwise easily preventible car accident, and my brother's had horrible luck, like his phone cord being cut at his new home, his breaking a window he was trying to open, it raining the entire weekend he went to the beach to get away from it all....

And it's happened to me, too, when depressed, it seems like everything goes down hill. The only way I seem to get out of it is to *will* myself out of it. Concentrate on the good things that happen and try to laugh off the rest. If you are focusing on your string of bad luck, it's going to only highlight the things in your life that go wrong. If you concentrate on the fun/cool/good/happy things, you'll start seeing a newer, better pattern.

Good luck, literally. :-)

Susan
