Is there a cure for constant bad luck?

Posted by Wildflower on October 16, 2003, at 8:55:28

I wasn't a superstitious person but now I might become one. I broke a very large mirror moving into my apartment 2.5 years ago and things haven't been the same since. My co-workers joke about my constant bad luck. A friend of mine even bought me a lucky bamboo plant for my b-day to try to help me. Ironically enough, my cat knocked it off the shelf that night. It's in one piece but I took it as a sign.

Car trouble, man troubles, appliances breaking, favorites clothes being eaten by the clothes washer, etc. It just never stops! Oh yes, how can I forget the most recent incident - I just broke a huge chunk of tooth off this morning on a bagel. Maybe I would be better if I just followed my instinct and stayed in bed every day.

I've heard the theory that you make your own luck but the things that are happening just don't make sense. Perhaps someone placed a spell or curse on me. Sounds silly but I have no other explanation.

Do any of you have any ideas? I'm willing to try anything. I'm at the point of desperation.

(Sorry if it always seems like I post when things are horrible. I promise to post some happiness soon.)
