I'm not familiar with the zone diet. At first I thought your doctor recommended that you watch some sci-fi show. You should be commended for losing 16 pounds.
Have you considered adding an activity that you really enjoy? My resolution for this year is to try and lose a bit of weight. I've been searching through old albums and it seems in the past few years I ballooned. I'm going to try adding walking every other day to my routine and getting outside every day, (fatigue is an issue for me.) And I'm a big bread eater so I'm going to try cutting back on it.
Whatever is your vice don't keep in the house. Make yourself walk to the store to pick it up. You'll be active and less likely to carry an excess quanity back.
Good luck, we should weigh in again at the end of the summer. All I've managed to do for the past year is stop gaining, which is a start for me. I also plan on quitting smoking, but gosh what will I put in my mouth then?
