i'm not jacked. i have podge. from eating too many marshmellows and drinking too much beer.

also from not exercising enough...

the idea, however, is that sometimes one goes about in head circles. and sometimes the way out of head circles is to do something.

like...

if i get a bit more serious about my exercise then i find i have the actual genuine desire to eat less.

sometimes it's hard to schedule something... if it is a study plan for intellectual activity.... sometimes it is easier to schedule a 'study plan' for 10 push ups.

then the physical activity deadline... meeting the plan... can carry over to another aspect of life.

that's the idea.

sometimes you find yourself stuck up against a wall on discipline. there is a particular something that you want to do and you don't seem disciplined enough to do it...

sometimes the way forwards is a step sideways. sometimes the way forwards is to schedule and meet and accomplish something... tangential. then that gives you the strength or disclipline or... whatever... that is required to meet the original goal that you had...

don't know if this makes any sense....
