Emmylou,

thanks for responding from the cbt side. The one truly cbt therapist I saw believed my ocd was a result of trauma in my childhood, but that the only way to control it was cognitive tools. I still think both approaches count, but the deep work, feeling and healing the pain and rage...that seems where I want to head, hard as it is.
