CanadaDrugStop let me down. They would not accept the comparison to Samsclub pharmacy, so they wanted about $425+ for 90 of the 15mg, so I'm looking into the Deplin plan at their site. Thanks for mentioning that Deplin will help with costs. My only other alternative is to see if I can get it from an Intertribal Clinic and I don't know if they even would carry it. Stock is limited and I wouldn't want to use it unless desperate.

I'm just glad to find out what has been wrong with me for so long. I finally got the genetic tests and I have all the bad variants for MTHFR from both parents, as I mentioned. I had already talked to my doctor about the issue prior to that since I had high homocysteine levels and abnormal RDW for 20 years. I researched it and brought the info to my PCP. So, my family doctor prescribed compounded methylcobalamin and L-methylfolate. I did, however, mention that my great-grandmother died of pernicious anemia, so there were three pieces of evidence prior to the genetic tests.

I buy liquid B-complex from the feed store and use it too, but not too frequently, about 3cc per month. It was the slightest amount of that which made my brain feel like it was flooded with white light. It was like I woke up from sleeping for many years. My doctors know about it and no one has objected when I tell them. I got the idea from a bodybuilders forum and from reading how one could definitively diagnose B deficiency by injecting a little. It only took about 1/10 of a ml of B-complex and it was like a miracle. It was like being cured of dementia in 2 seconds.

Just a note: My parents started taking me to psychiatrists by the time I was 14. To think I couldn't make the proper brain chemicals! Now, my son and his wife are having my granddaughter evaluated for psychiatric drugs and won't pay any attention to me when I tell them she could have the mutation that causes a serious vitamin deficiency and subsequent volatility.

It isn't just depression, it also causes one's cartilage to go away if there is a B12 problem because of the immature megaloblastic red cells not carrying oxygen and nutrition into the tiniest capillaries. The shortness of breath and asthma-like symptoms were the worst! But degenerative disk disease is also a result. I've had 3 spine fusions and a hip replacement by now that could have been avoided had this been detected a long time ago. My great-grandmother died at 23 of pernicious anemia. I think it's the same thing as the MTHFR mutation or rather a related consequence of the same mutations.

Maybe she helped me from THE OTHER SIDE :) One never knows and I'm pretty psychic anyway :) Thank you all for listening.
