im new to this forum. i've suffered for about 15 years from generalized anxiety, social phobia and depression. in that time i've tried many treatments. i had some relief from a few of them but nothing was really effective in taking away the netagive thoughts and feelings.
recently i came across someone on another forum who was using manganese for social anxiety. i decided to try it myself and see if i got the same excellent results he was telling everyone about.
i'm now taking 2 solgar chelated manganese (8mg) daily and the results are fantastic. it feels like a benzo for me but without the spaced out feeling. it feels so natural. i dont feel drugged up at all. i find myself talking to people easily and feeling so relaxed which is highly unusual for me. it lasts an incredibly long time also compared to other sups ive taken. i can benefit the whole day after taking it in the morning.
i would just like to know if anyone else has tried manganese and if you could help me understand what it does that takes away my anxiety and depression so effectively. i have a few theories but im not entirely sure. i think it may be boosting GABA in my brain as it feels so much like a benzo.
