I don't rely on multivitamins either. I have felt better on them and sometimes worse. What works for me is taking a cocktail of several individual vitamins and minerals plus fish oil. You have to experiment a little to find out which ones help you and which ones do not. This may take some time and patience, but once you find a cocktail that helps you, it is well worth the effort. Some vitamins that may be beneficial include vitamins E and C, Vitamins B1, B2, B5, B6, and B12, minerals such as magnesium, manganese, and zinc, polyunsaturated fatty acids such as fish and borage oils, etc. Some people need extra vitamin D, especially during the winter. These are just examples of some individual vitamins that help me. It's really very subjective. Everyone's nutritional needs are different.
