Some people get more than attention improvement on stimulants.
Stimulants like ritalin and dexedrine will release some dopamine in the neucleus accumbens, like some harder drugs (ie cocaine, etc) which can be pleasurable.
It has been shown the NMDA antagonists can tend to even out this release. Ie the drugs may not give you a buzz.
By all means, take the vitamins and minerals. But don't stop taking them on account of their ability to slightly change the dynamics of the drug (ie slightly dampening the subjective mood boost)
