Holdan and Holden, Old and New

Holdan said, "It is soooooo nice to find this empathetic, supportive group." He also posted as a "new" poster, so perhaps as he was new to the site he didn't know if the use of his language torwards the board and other posters was either against the civility rules or would be seen as offensive etc.

If you're new of course you have to learn by the rules ~ that makes sense to me.

I've used the google search function in the past to find out about medications (that was actually indirectly how I found the site) I was just using the google function again and accidently came across a couple of old threads..

"Holdan," when he recently just posted, signed his name as "Holden" and then as "Half the Holden I use to be"...just after.

"Holdan" also asked about an old poster called Mitch, who I know used to post here for quite some time but stopped posting afew months ago, I actually posted to Mitch afew times myself whilst he was still here.

Interestingly back in 2001 a poster named Holden spoke with Mitch...

Hey everyone,

I'm taking medication for ADD (inattentive, non hyper), and am trying to work out proper dosing..."

Holdan said at one point he was Holden, more or less. Holdan also more or less said he was a new poster. Holden posted here in 2001.

I thought this might be relevant as in the FAQ's it says a name change should be posted on the Administration board and what with everything else going on, this may have been of some interest at the time..

Of course I could be completely wrong, as with Holdan and Holden, the *a* and *e* are the letters in involved, with the letters changed around names lately and the letters aren't exactly half the distance away from each other on my key board so it could of course just be a simple typing error...

Kind regards

Nick
