Well put, Dinah.
You know I'm pretty new here, and when I started this thread, I was disturbed that there was so much criticism of Dr Bob. I was afraid he'd just shrivel up and die, or at least give up on the site (basically projecting my own low tolerance for conflict onto Dr Bob). Then I browsed thru the archives, and woo-ee(!), I realized this much conflict is not unprecedented at all.
I wanted to throw in some (sincere) supportive words to keep Bob going and save the site from ruin. I didn't mean to discount people's concerns about the issues at hand, though I fear it came off that way.
