From what I read yesterday, thromboses occur at a rate of 1 in 100,000.
What that means is that in a crowd of 100,000 people filling the seats in the Rose Bowl football stadium, one person will have this side effect happen to them.
You will have to judge for yourself whether that rate is too high to take the risk of continuing to use the J&J vaccine. Perhaps waiting a month to see if using Moderna or Pfizer as a booster enhance immunity in people who used J&J previously.
