In your research, have you come across anything to address the occurrence of a person feeling a leaden like depression in the first part of the day with a steady improvement in mood. By night the mood is good but anxious and dreading night. Difficulty sleeping. I've had such a pattern all my life, before any meds. Over this daily rhythm there are greater or lesser cycles of depression or rarely, hypomania. I am officially dx'd as BPll. I'm pleased to see you still posting!

Sorry for the delay and I wish I had better news! This cycling stuff is so interesting to me but who the hell knows what is going on. Science only has theories of course and no solutions. I don't know when or if there is a reason my morning hell rotated to the afternoon. I have read that for most people it is worse in the mornings.
Do you dread the night because you can't sleep or because you know how bad you will feel in the morning? Or maybe you have cycled into an anxiety state? That sucks. I went through a period of extreme morning anxiety.
Does you body act any differently if it does sleep well? (If you ever have). This is random, but I am just starting a cpap for my energy and sometime sleep apnea keeps waking you up.
I wish the depression world could pull together resources and experiences to figure it out!
