> I did some research a while back and discovered that yes, the chemicals released during panic do have a distinctive odor. You really can smell fear. I'd noticed that my clothing after a panic attack really reeked, and I just couldn't leave them in the hamper without washing them.

Anxiety sweat seems to me to feel like peppermint soap. There's a burning or tingling to it. I also know that after a particularly stressful time at work my body really reacts badly. As a diabetic, I get irritations under my arms or in other places like that. They get really really bad during stressful times. Almost like my sweat is an irritant to my skin.

> Am I nuts or is it possible that the chemicals involved do that as well? Could that be part of what a cold sweat means? Because the tingling or burning does have a cold feel to it. Again, like peppermint.

> Or I could be totally nuts. After taking many AD's, alcohol and Paxil caused a horrible smell to come from me, esp sweat when it was hot out. I had been on paxil before but for some reason the last time my metabolism must have changed or something. I quit paxil and the smell stopped. I ve heard this happen with some other ad's. When I started Nardil it smelled as well, embarrasing to say the least. Im on Parnate now but I cant seem to change my name at the moment...
