I usually find that two treatments-really, just one, but I have another for "insurance"-result in a complete remission which lasts several weeks. Then there is a gradual return of the depression over the next several months. It takes a few months to reach "moderately severe" on the Beck scale.. At that point I go back for two more treatments. Now that it will be available here, we will be trying different treatment frequencies so as to spend as much time as possible in remission- hopefully, it will close to 100%!.
I should say that I had my initial TMS treatment six years ago; it consisted of three weeks of daily treatments. I notice that now the company is suggesting six weeks of daily treatment for new patients
