When I started lamictal I had 2 sample packs with exact instructions on the titration. I believe it started with 12.5 mg.
After titrating up to 100 we increased my rate of titration quite rapidly- because I was feeling very very bad- and I never had any adverse effects, like rashes.
In retrospect, it was successful as an AD, at least for a few months, but it was not so good for my anxiety.
