Sodium phosphates

Posted by AMD on December 31, 2004, at 15:44:03

Are the hypertonic (mono,di) sodium phosphates in typical enema solutions dangerous? Do they have an affect on antidepressants and/or brain function? I have a colonoscopy coming up and I just want to make sure these are safe and won't interfere with anything having to do with my cognitive functioning and/or recent improvements in mood. I also fear dehydration etc. Are these all things that are really nothing to worry about?
