In reply to depression from Klonopin - experiences?, posted by lemon68 on September 29, 2004, at 21:39:30
I used klonipin for years with good results. Not only did it help me stay asleep, it helped with my anxiety, including social anxiety. I never experienced any depressive effects from klonipin. To the contrary, reducing anxiety and sustaining sleep helped ameliorate depressive symptoms. I never had trouble staying within a low dose range, and frequently stopped using the drug without any discomfort. For the most part I took it as needed though there were also long periods when I took it every night. In retrospect, I probably should have used it more consistently.

Has anyone on this board experienced depression on Klonopin, and what were the circumstances?
