I am new to Effexor XR, 10 days now. I am taking 75mg and will up to 150mg after a month. I have committed to being on the drug for at least a year due to depression becoming Major Depressive Disorder and GAD. I must say that after 10 days, my life has settled down a bit. Much of my anxiety has lifted and I must often remind myself that I'm actually depressed. My side effects are uncontrollable yawning ending in throat constriction leaving me unable to breath for a few seconds, and getting huge frights from simple things such as movement around me.

I have enjoyed reading of everyone's experiences and wonder if anyone share my side effects?
