I thought the half-life was about a day or two so how can you need more of it the next day?hello there, chemist here...the elimination half-life is moderately long, and the pharmacokinetics of the drug are such that if you take 1 mg at 6 am, about half of the parent compound will be bioavailable x hours later. however, you need to augment x with y to keep the total more or less constant. recall that drugs are metabolised and eliminated constantly, so that 1 dose does not stick around forever. if you get on a bid dosing schedule, that ought to do it with klonopin....do let me know if this clears things a bit, and also check the archives for a very detailed post about half-lives i made a few months ago. all the best, chemist
