hi, not sure about the temgesic, I heard about 6 months ago that it was about to be approved in the US. I believe any doc can prescribe the buprenex & it is squirted under the tongue rather than injected. Someone who used to frequent this board used it that way. Hope it helps your friend if she gets a chance to try it.
