Straterra may help your social skills if you have ADD. You might also tolerate conversation and groups better on medication for ADD. I could not tolerate Straterra because I found it very extremely sedating. I don't think that is very common. As for Provigil, I can't imagine it would help with social anxiety. It made me nervous and sweaty while I was alone. That doesn't seem like a good way to reduce social anxiety. The other ADD drugs in slow release form (like Concerta) were far less nerve-racking for me.
