Can Straterra, Provigil help social anxiety?

Posted by utopizen on July 20, 2003, at 23:29:25

I've been taking 1mg of Klonopin 3x/day, but noticed 1mg these days is equal to 2mg back during the first 3 months I started. I also combine it with Nalodol 40mg/day (beta blocker) this is tremendously good for "breakthrough" social anxiety (kind of like what pain sufferers say about pain).

I think it's now prudent to consider my options with Straterra. I have inattentive ADD, so I was thinking of Straterra anyway. My doc said it might help with the anxiety. Anyone notice this? All I hear is people using it for depression on this board. I don't get that.

I get tired during the day. I read on medline under "modafinil" and "social anxiety" a letter, but couldn't get access to it. It was about Provigil on social anxiety. Any one notice changes in their mood or anxiety while on it?

thanks!
