Ever taken Percocet (or another oxycodone-containing medication) before? It might be that you can't tolerate it, for some reason. I've seen people get really dysphoric on oxycodone before.

On the other hand, it might well have been a drug interaction. It's hard to guess what might have been going on with the symptoms you described, but I'm guessing that you're right about the desipramine. The O-demethylation of oxycodone (to oxymorphone) is catalyzed by an enzyme that's crucial in the metabolism of tricyclic antidepressants, so it's conceivable that the oxycodone might have slowed the desipramine metabolism and clearance. I'm kind of impressed that such a tiny bit of oxycodone would have this effect, but then, you're taking a lot of meds, and one or more of the other ones may have contributed as well.

How much desipramine are you taking? Have you had your serum level checked?
