In reply to Paxil Withdrawl, how long does it last?, posted by Jodie on July 4, 2000, at 18:22:14

I have been on Paxil for years now for depression and anxiety. I have always wanted to try something else, but the doc says they're all the same. I am currently on 60mg, but ran out about a week and a half ago. I really didn't think much about it because it never seemed to help with the depression anyways, but since I have been off it, I can't stop crying and I feel like I am going to rip someones head off. I hate myself and everyone and everything around me!
Are these normal symptoms of withdrawl or am I in worse shape than I thought. Please if you have any info for me I am desperate. I can't stand it and I, like one of the other posters have a 6 year old daughter that I adore and love, but if I yell at her one more time I am going to lose it.
Please help.
P.S I did just get my Paxil refill, so will these feelings subside?
