For what it's worth, I thought Gabitril was awful. It just angers me that there are drugs out there that not only work, but work fast. Doctors don't want to prescribe them because they are "habituating." They'd rather prescribe things like Paxil. Obviously those doctors have never run out of Paxil and torn the house apart looking for a dose in a state of agonizing withdrawal. I'm feeling really disillusioned with psychopharmacology right now. All I want is to stop thinking about killing myself and to be able to leave the house without freaking out. Why do I have to put up with nausea and shakiness and fatigue and anxiety and headaches and cognitive dulling and numbness in my fingers and and insatiable appetites and weight gain to accomplish those two simple aforementioned goals?Oh yeah, sorry about the rant...you're not the only one that felt crappy on Gabitril.
