Thinking of studying abroad, Can anyone help?

Hi all
I am new to the student board

I live in the UK (for those who don't already know)

I already have an undergraduate degree, in
Philosophy and English joint Honours.

I was thinking of studying abroad in an English speaking country, specificaly Cannada, Australia or the US.
I would either study a postgrad degree or undertake medical training with a view to becoming a psychiatrist.

Does anyone know anything about studying in these countries?
How expensive would it be?
I wouldn't get any funding, and my pairents are not wealthy, so I'd have to fund a lot of it myself.
