there is no medicine because there is no informed consent.
the government tells the medical doctors what 'treatment' is right for what patient and the 'doctor' simply does what they have been instructed to do.
there are various pieces of information that medically trained and non-medically trained administrators (none of whom have actually seen the patient or examined them) use to decide what 'treatment' is right for what patient.
the decile (wealth) status of the address of the person seeking care or help. we help the wealthy, we tresspass away from the hospital those who are deemed not wealthy.
other people get little marks by their name 'do not treat'. the DHB wants to get some people not going to the hospital. it puts them down as 'high need' patients and it doesn't want to treat them. particularly people who insist on asking for psych treatment or help from the hospital.
remember years and years and years ago how i needed to be recorded as a person who self-harmed -- otherwise there was to be no treatment for me.
but then once they recorded me as a self-harmer -- there was to be no treatment for me.
it is like how they tell various people that there is no help for them -- unless they are in prison. then they can have access to drug treatment perhaps, or household management assistance, or... but then once they are in prison (after doing something petty in the hope they would be sent there) they are told they need to be released before they can have help. then once they are released they are told they need to be back in prison, again.
it's all just a hoax. a scummy scummy scam.
getting people on a course of wasting their lives because the new zealand government won't provide the most basic of social services for the people.
will not do it.

the new zealand government told a bunch of people the only way they would be able to survive without going into unlawful activities or prostitution (which is legal here, so the government can decide that that lawful activity is required for you) is to have babies. they would get bonuses from the government for having babies.
then the government took their babies and ensured they were raised by people on government payroll as murderers and torturers and rapists. ensured they did not receive a quality education etc.
i mean if they can't read they can't read about their rights.
if they can't write they can't complain about their rights.
and so on.

they don't have access to anyone who understands or operates or acts on the basis of respecting informed consent because...

see... what you do... if you actually want to practice medicine (some approximation of) is marry an administrator. someone on the board. or a government official.
they will arrange things so that you are the only person acknowledged as having the skills and experience for the government contract.
so you get the government contract to provide whatever services.
at whatever price you set. because there is no alternative. right?
and so anybody who has experience -- well there will be quite the campaign to say why their experience doesn't count. isn't acnkowledged. if they don't shut up about the fact they have the experience to do the work then they will be imprisoned! then they will be fined for their imprisonment! then they likely will be imprisoned for failing to pay the fine! if they are very lucky they will be murdered quickly -- right? vanish off the face of the earth.
it's soooooo competitive. those governemnt contracts. for the monopoly sole provider.
like meredith connell only firm in auckland allowed to prosecute who claims to, additionally, be conflicted out of prosecuting anything in the health sector.
