it is now 2022. that means i should be in my 5th year.
this year is 'cervical examination' year, i believe. where i am required to give a cervical examination to someone, to have that observed, and to have that signed off.
i believe they usher medical students into surgical theatres en masse and have them be observed performing the examination on non-consenting women who have been anesthetised for non-related procedures.
there are no shortage of prostitutes, in new zealand. it is legal here. legalised. i don't understand why people who need (part of work safety) regular STD checks (including cervical examinations) cannot be paired / matched to help medical studnets learn / train in a way that is actually helpful to communities and respectful of the women agreeing to participate. it could be worked out so the STD checks are free when performed by a student or similar. it could be worked out so that it is a lot more respectful than it is now.
but it won't happen. not in new zealand. because the people who are allowed to lead (the only people who are allowed to lead) are determinedly inflicting traumas on the next generation. 'see see see see see see see' what happened to me when i was training. you all bear witness to the abuses i suffered... i endured. that's why i am still here. i am training another generation to be just like me.
medicine will never develop in new zealand.

i pity the poor people from ukrane who get refuge here. only to learn that things aren't so much better here. we blackbirded them is all granting them refuge likely is or means.
