so we lure people to new zealand...
blackbirding, they call it.
we make promises about how if they enrol in our degree programmes and work hard then they can stay here and have employment that they trained for.
engineering, medicine. plumbing. electrical. etc etc etc.
but then they learn that we won't give them their degree.
they are required to pay, they are required to pay, they are required to pay, they are required to pay... considerable excess of fees.
and then they are deported. sent away. raped, if we can get away with it. certainly bullied and abused for a number of years in excess of their contract before being sent away with no degree. defiled.
that's the aim or the goal or whatever in our 'workforce planning'.
the goverment has decided that the best way to train our workforce is to blackbird and then deport. that's the kiwi way.
we get junior people, too. you know, young graduates from overseas... we lure them here with the promise they can work their way up. but we proceed to bully them and abuse them. we proceed to violate all the (what few) labor laws we have. we proceed to ignore or sh*t all over international laws. we proceed to exploit them. not pay them. not advance their careers. we set about denying their qualifications. we set about trying to force them to re-train. we set about having them pay having them pay having them pay having them pay. we won't pay them they must pay.
else they can go away. go away anad die.
thanks for your work -- we will pay you later... (we will pay you never).
