the police are looking like troops more than police.
They are turning them out in what seems to be an effort or attempt to overwhelm the protestors in numbers.
That is to say, the government has some really strange or funny ideas about minorities. It thinks it is acceptable or okay to trample on minorities. It thinks (in legal contexts) that if it can blame the victim (just one victim) or 'divide and conquer' or 'isolate and trample' then it wins.
Jacinda keeps saying that they are a small minority that think they are the majority.
But that's not it. They may be a small minority. But they are standing up for human rights.
Which she doesn't seem willing or able to grasp. Theres a... NOt quite a meaning-blindness... Not quite an intellectual disability... There's a certain kind of incapacity or unwillingness or...
So they think that if they can be seen to be outnumbered by mercinaries fighting for the government then the world will look on and think that the government is clearly right because they had the might.
They have started pepper spraying the protestors.
The front lines of the protestors will increasingly become those who are used to police brutality / government brutality because of how they have been treated in their government homes, the government youth detention camps, the government prisons, the government hospitals, all the various government institutions of abuse.
the government universities.
It will turn nasty.
wonder when the 501's will turn up with their guns.
or when some refugee decides to blow up parliament, or similar.
becuase they got sick and tired of asking for help and, more partiuclarly, asking to be interacted with and related to and listened to and heard and taken seriously as a person. as a human being. with intelligence and free will etc.
it isn't about what is required for the health of the people, at all. it is about the government trying to force compliance because the government is an abusive bully. that is all.

the government didn't contribute vaccines. didn't contribute techniques for makkng them or manufacturing them. didn't manufacture them. the government didn't contribute new ways of testing. didn't plurchase or invest in ones under development. the government expected to get handouts from other countries or... the government thought that it's role was to ensure that the people of NZ not contribute to developmetn on the world stage at all. teh government decided that the role of NZ was only to drag our heels and hold everything back and slow everything down and drag things out for as loooooooong as we possibly can...
f*ck*ng retards hanging on the end of the world, there, until Korea or whoever decides to plant another bomb in a volcano.
so apparently we got a free trade deal with England. Because not really anybody else will trade with us. can't do business in or with this jurisdication etc. poison round up in the honey. poison melamine in the milk powder. dolphins in the fish. etc.
we are gettign gin and this thing they like to call 'chocolate' and mobile homes.
they are getting meat. lifting some tax on that or whatever to make it more financially profitable for us to give them meat.
of course NASA (some subsidary called 'Rocket Lab' is also sending up rockets... to monitor our methane emmissions. and we are supposed to pay methane and carbon eetc taxes. In fact... Apparently a Russian aircraft flew over not so long ago to drop off supplies for some Rocket Lab mission... So the Russians and USA seem to be working together in the Rocket Lab thing. Probably something to do with international cooperation for peace and security.
i wonder how long before NASA and Russia and China and Korea and India... Etc etc etc... Decide that the planet really needs NZ to cut or stop with the methane emmissions. How are they going to do that?
I guess they will need to get rid of a government who will only trade away teh health of the peple.
Not just of NZ
But the entire f*ck*ng planet.
