Hi there, Scott. I do have some progress to report. Yay!
The hair loss I experienced is expected to reverse itself, though it might take up to a year. In the meantime, Im using the Nioxin brand of hair care to make the most of what I have and to stimulate new hair growth. (It works well on improving the look of what I have. Theres definitely more volume.) So that will work out ok, eventually. The cross taper, down off of Zoloft and on to Rexulti, is a nightmare. Hours of crying today with a spontaneous existential crisis brought on by listening to a meditation. Yeesh.
As for the yoga lessons, the greatest thing about them is that my teacher asks me about my physical and emotional well being, and then tailors the lesson to improve those states. Last week, for example, I was in the middle of figuring out the solution to my hair loss problem, and was generally upset and distracted. In response, she concentrated on grounding types of poses (instead of twisting, strength, or balance poses).
