The ocean

Posted by gadchik on November 8, 2011, at 10:19:53

Ive learned in my 40th decade, that going on a big, glitzy cruise ship, anywhere, anytime, makes me giddy w/joy.Its bliss beyond bliss. And its mainly just the gliding over the ocean that I so adore. To gaze out to sea and not feel an ounce of anxiety,or sadness,it heals me.I thought I was too anxious to get on a big ship and be in the deep water, but its the opposite,it calms me.And I meet so many people. I know I can just go walk on a beach, but its being out there, far beyond land, that I love.

"I came to explore the wreck.
The words are purposes.
The words are maps.
I came to see the damage that was done
and the treasures that prevail..." Adrienne Rich
