Risperdal is kind of rough, as atypicals go. Elevated prolactin levels, weight gain, a relatively high amount of EPS and I think its got more TD with long term use than, say, zyprexa or abilify or...pretty much any other atypical. But a lot of that depends on your dosage.
Have you tried an anticonvulsant?
