first of all, i always agree with you on never counting on someone else to get somethign done! i do't know how many times i've been burned on that one!!
i'm glad to hear (read, whatever) that you handled it well. huge deadlines stink like rotten bananas (ever had one? a rotten banana stinks!!). but, it sounds like you're in control of the situation and handling it well!
good job and good luck on your deadline! we're proud of you for not losing 'it' and ending up walking the streets naked shrieking!
