Disconnected it years ago when son moved to BC; he was the main one who watched it. Hmmm that must have been about 6 or so years ago!!! We just never bothered to hook it up again. We watch videos & DVD's, but not TV. I love to read.
As to the internet, I'm sure I could get scared to death, but I don't go looking around on the internet much at ALL.
