Sometimes I miss being arrogant.

Posted by Michael83 on January 18, 2008, at 12:36:44

I've tried really hard to be humble about other people's opinions lately.

I've posted about this before, sometimes I'm afraid of disaster type scenarios and "end of world" type dangers.

Well I was reading on a forum and someone mentioned something about "Planet X" and a few other possible end of world scenarios that could happen in 2012/13. 5 years ago I would have probably laughed and said whoever believes in such nonsense is an idiot. But I feel like I've been shrunk down to such a humble mental state I cannot refute anything remotely questionable/unknown. I feel guilty everytime I do. =(

I'm never one to believe in nonsense like that, but I couldn't help being scared anyway.

Maybe I need to be a little more arrogant in the face of extreme ignorance. Is that so wrong?
