(I certainly didn't mean to start a discussion on the death penalty.)

This bloke hardly mentioned his opposition to the death penalty till the end of the program. What he talked about was the people, how they felt, how they coped, and how he was involved. One of them might have, I think I remember, asked that he hold their hand at the last moment. He said he had to reply that that was not allowed, but that he could stand near him and touch him and maintain eye contact until the moment of death. Stuff like that.
I was so impressed.
